My life has become so surreal.
I'm dating a vampire.
I'm claimed by a vampire.
That vampire has a Sire who licked me (and who I apparently have to meet again sometime soon).
And that's all starting to not seem so weird to me anymore.
Because Holden is really cool.

I'm not sure what the thought was behind this, but apparently they (someone) has created rainbow coloured bacon.
It holds the colour even when it cooks.
I'm not sure why though. Bacon is already awesome. It doesn't need colours to make it more awesome.

Well that was my first time spent in the Cage. That was the longest twelve hours of my life for sure. Just sitting here, on the hard ground. I am sure I have an imprint of those bars in my back now.
But at least I avoided that dinner party. Not sure which would be worse though, the Cage or that.
Now I have to go explain at work why I missed a shift.

How did I end up becoming a magnet for vampire freaks. Two in one day. After all this time spend laying low and avoiding attention. Two in one day.
And now one of them is asking me about my clothes and the other keeps talking about food... in a really weird way.
I wish I could just hide in bed for a week. I wonder I can get someone to come and walk me to work. Or better yet, drive me to work.

Dad's at it again. I'm so glad no one around here knows that that's my father. Except Vinni but I know she'll never say anything. Mom called me at work (that always makes you seem cool, having your mom call you up at work) to see if I'd read the article and what I thought and yada yada.
Funny still because I got a birthday card from him last month. Not that he knew about it or anything, it was obviously picked out and signed by his secretary. Or whatever.
Gotta get back to the salmon rolls.

One of the wait staff at the restaurant spilled a dish of pasta on me. It was an accident, but now I smell like like confit of duck and gogonzola. I guess I'd taste pretty fantastic though.
It's lucky I have a spare jacket back in the storeroom, cause I'd hate to have to walk around the kitchen like a refrigerator train wreck.
Refrigerator Train Wreck should be the name of a song. Or a band.
Vinni, don't eat supper tonight. I've got some food that needs to be used. Cheese and mortadello stuffed pork loin rounds wrapped in bacon. It's going to be fantastic.
